On the advice of the National Public Health Emergency Team on March 12th 2020, asking members of the public to consider how to limit your social interactions and to avoid indoor, crowded spaces, shaking hands and close personal contact.
In light of this advice, Clare Sports Partnership will suspend all workshops, activities and programmes in order to limit social gatherings and avoid indoor covered spaces and close personal contact. This will come into immediate effect and remain in place for at least 1-month from today the 12th March 2020. We will review this on an ongoing basis in line with the latest advice from the HSE and the National Public Health Guidelines.
We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause but feel the health and safety of others is paramount at this time.
We are contactable on Cathy@claresports.ie or 0656865434 for general queries but we ask you not to call to our office. All other staff are contactable through their direct email address. As they are working remotely, small meetings will only be considered on a case by case basis. Large meetings will not be attended until further notice.

We are very aware of the ongoing and evolving situation around the Corona Virus – Covid-19 in county Clare. As you know, a good bit of our work involves working with groups of people and some of these groups may have compromised immune systems. As a team, we have looked at the initiatives that we are doing in the coming weeks, and we have made a decision to postpone, only as a precautionary measure,  some and to continue with others, with the proviso that the situation is dynamic and we may need to postpone closer to start dates if need be. We do not take these decisions lightly, but they are in the interest of Public Health at this time. We are not doctors or health professionals, so we are not giving advice regarding Covid-19. For advice, you need to follow the Link to the HSE Website

POSTPONED – We have postponed our Sports Hall Athletics Finals that were due to take place next week (March 10th , 11th 12th). This would have gathered 500 children and 50 adults from 11 primary schools / organisations together over 3 days. We will re-schedule for a later date in the spring.

At present, all other initiatives that we are running will go ahead, unless there is a pressing need to postpone. Please keep updated via this website or our  social medias @claresports. If you are booked onto a postponed course and you have paid money to be there, you will automatically be placed onto the new courses and if this date does not suit, you will without squabble or delay get your fee back in full.
