Coaching in Clare

Coaching is a demanding but rewarding experience. Be it with children or adults, you really need to keep on top of your game! Clare Coaching Forum is specifically aimed at coaches and sports leaders in Clare.

The Clare Coaching Forum is open to any coach / manager, qualified or not, or indeed individuals that are interested in sport to join. From November to June, there will be different coaching related initiatives, from code of ethics to strength and conditioning to psychology. The workshops have been chosen and designed, in consultation with the development officer of each sport, to assist coaches in maintaining the high standards that they already promote, and to compliment the coaching awards that the individuals may have been awarded through their particular sport.

Each of the workshops has a running cost to them ranging from €100 to €10. However, members of the Forum will get them either free or at a discounted rate of up to 40%. There is a small cost to join the forum of €25 as an individual member, clubs can also purchase 3 memberships for €40 and county boards 6 memberships at €60. The club and county board memberships are transferable among their coaches, the individual memberships are non transferable.
